Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 29, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of sitestatsdb.com and the Site Stats Database service (the “Service,” operated by “Site Stats Database,” “we,” “us”). By using the Service or buying a plan, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
Site Stats Database is a commercial, queryable and exportable database of website metrics, such as estimated traffic, authority, keywords, and detected technology. The data is provided for research and general information and does not constitute professional advice. We aggregate data from public web pages and from licensed upstream vendors, and we do not guarantee that any figure is exact or current.
Accounts
You are responsible for your account. By creating one, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and must tell us promptly of any unauthorized use.
- Not share your account or credentials with anyone else. Each account is for a single user.
We may refuse registration or suspend or close an account that violates these Terms.
Plans and Payment
Access to the database is sold as the following plans:
- Regular, Monthly: a recurring subscription that renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the customer portal, and your access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Regular, Lifetime: a one-time payment for indefinite access to the Regular tier. There is nothing to renew or cancel.
- Advanced, Lifetime: a one-time payment for indefinite access to the Advanced tier, which includes everything in Regular plus the full technographic data (tech stack, marketing, commerce, security, and DNS/TLS signals). Advanced is offered on a lifetime basis only.
There is no yearly plan. Current prices are shown on the Pricing page. Prices may change for new purchases, but a change does not affect a lifetime plan you have already bought.
Merchant of Record. Purchases are processed by Polar.sh, which acts as the Merchant of Record (the seller of record) for your transaction. Polar handles checkout, billing, applicable tax and VAT, invoices, and the customer portal. Your purchase is also subject to Polar’s buyer terms. By buying, you confirm you are authorized to use the payment method.
If a payment fails or is disputed, we may suspend your access until the matter is resolved.
No Refunds
All sales are final. Because every plan delivers immediate access to downloadable data, we do not offer refunds, except where a refund is required by applicable law. If you want to evaluate the Service first, start with the Regular monthly plan, which you can cancel at any time.
Acceptable Use
Your access is for your own personal or internal business research and analysis. You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, harvest, or otherwise bulk-extract data from the Service except through the export features we provide, and only within their limits.
- Reproduce, republish, redistribute, sublicense, resell, or otherwise make our database or any substantial part of it available to others, whether for a fee or for free.
- Re-export data in bulk beyond your own personal or internal business use, or use it to build, train, or populate a competing dataset or product.
- Use the data we provide in any way that breaks applicable privacy, data-protection, or anti-spam laws.
- Interfere with, overload, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
Limited use of metrics for a handful of sites in good-faith commentary, reviews, or marketing is permitted, provided it is not a substitute for a subscription and does not reproduce a substantial part of the database. Misuse may result in immediate suspension or termination and may expose you to legal action.
Third-Party Website Data and Removal
The Service includes information about third-party websites. If you own a site that appears in our database, you can ask us to remove it; see Remove your site. How we handle this data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including the compiled database, the site, text, graphics, and logos, is owned by Site Stats Database or its licensors and is protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service under these Terms. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.
Service Availability
We refresh the database periodically and may carry out maintenance, during which the Service may be briefly unavailable. We aim to minimize interruptions but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access and are not liable for losses arising from downtime.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service and all data are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the data is complete, accurate, or current. You should independently verify information before relying on it.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Site Stats Database will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Site Stats Database and its operators from any claims, losses, and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service or its data.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that is harmful to us, other users, or third parties. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including those on intellectual property, no refunds, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, will survive.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there for any dispute, to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with the “Last updated” date at the top. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service and supersede any prior understandings.
